1130 NW 1st Ave

 I have had the opportunity to photograph so many interesting places! This one was a referral from C & R Real Estate, a property management company (Thank you!). The building was built in 1913 and has many of the original vintage details included. It's right downtown, across from the Moda Center, with super easy access to the freeway. 

Front Exterior

It's hard to see beyond that fence, but there's a nice little courtyard there.

I just love the feel of this front entrance!

There are ornate details inside and out.

Ornate wall sconces and mirrors line the entry hall.

Apartment

There are 2 Murphy beds in this apartment, one on either side of the divider. The divider has a pocket door which can be closed. Ideal for a roommate situation.

The closet on the left is quite large. Definitely qualifies as a "walk-in closet".

Living room/Bedroom

This room can double as a living room or a bedroom, or both. Just pull out the Murphy bed under the "hutch". There is a closet on the right, and the kitchen entry is on the left.

Kitchen

I love the charm and style of this older building. There are built-ins galore!

Front Hallway

You can enter the kitchen and then the living room/bedroom on the left, or go straight to the bedroom on the right.

For Real

This is an original fixture, and it does still work. They no longer function as telephones, but instead are used as an intercom system. Guests at the front door of the building can push a button to ring you in your apartment. I think it's so cool that they saved these old phones when updating the building throughout the years.

Clawfoot Tub

I normally don't include photos of toilets in my work portfolio, but it was the only way to get a shot of this clawfoot bathtub, and I was not going to leave that out!
